Introducing Altea: AI for knowledge workers

An AI tool built for real knowledge work — not just chat

At NimbleNova, we’ve spent the past year developing Altea: an AI product designed for knowledge workers in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). These are the people writing client reports, answering questions based on past work, and managing information scattered across Word docs, Excel files, PDFs, or meeting notes.

Altea helps these users work faster, with more structure and less repetition — without needing to change how they already work.

Why we built Altea
We saw that general-purpose AI tools weren’t made for the real, repeatable work knowledge teams do every day.

Tools like ChatGPT can produce fluent responses, but they often:

• Give different answers each time, even for the same question
• Struggle to trace or verify where their responses come from
• Can’t maintain consistent formats or outputs
• Require users to adapt their work to fit the tool

That doesn’t work in client-facing environments. So we built something that does.

What Altea does differently
Altea connects to the files and tools teams already use — and turns scattered materials into structured, explainable knowledge. It helps teams:

• Automate recurring reports while keeping expert oversight
• Find reliable answers based on their own past work
• Preserve knowledge during handovers or staff turnover
• Bring structure to Word, Excel, and PDFs — without needing to build a new system

Every answer links back to its source. Every output follows a format you define. And every step is traceable.

How it works behind the scenes
Altea is powered by a set of modular AI agents. Each one is designed to perform a specific task — from classifying documents and structuring content, to expanding queries and generating answers.

These agents work together on top of Mindle, a structured knowledge layer that stores and connects your organisation’s information. This foundation keeps content versioned, contextual, and reusable — making every output consistent, explainable, and grounded in your own work.

Altea isn’t a chatbot. It’s an end-to-end system for structured, everyday knowledge work.

Where we are now
We’re finalising the product: refining features, testing edge cases, and preparing onboarding flows that match how real teams actually work.

We’re targeting a full launch in October 2025. Altea will be offered as a standalone SaaS product, tailored specifically to the needs of SMEs.
